So I thought I should go ahead and post a little update for those of you I don't talk to on a regular basis. All is going well... and I am SO close to the end. Everyone keeps telling me that I am in the "any day now" stage, but for some reason it doesn't feel like that at all. I feel very much like P is going to make his appearance late. We will see... but as of now, no 'progression' (to spare you strange and awkward pregnancy terms) at this time. I will be 39 weeks this Thursday...and the big day is set for the 23rd. If he hasn't made is appearance by then (which I seriously don't think he is going to have) we will talk about how long post-date my Dr. is going to let me go. I'll say what everyone in this boat says and thinks-- I HOPE ITS NOT LONG. I have reached the end of this sweet pregnancy rope... I am so ready to meet him and so ready for him to be in the world and not in my belly!
One amazing bit of health news... Apparently Von Willebrands Disease can 'self-correct' during pregnancy and the body can start randomly producing the levels of Factor VIII (that I have always been missing) that regualr healthy blooded fools have. At 35 weeks I went in to get some bloodwork done and see if there was in the percentage of people that are 'healed' of Von Willebrands during pregnancy... and... I AM!!! What a blessing. My factor will decrease again about 5-7 days after I give birth, but for this time, I have healthy blood!

i'll say it again...i've got my bag packed and am just a waitin'...
carrie... you are almost there! but, don't get too excited about the "any day now" phase because i fell for that and now at 41 weeks baby mary is still comfortable in my belly! i got over the "any moment she could come" feeling and kind of feel like she is just going to stay in there for awhile.... i think i'll be induced on thursday though. anyways, just wanted to say hi and i'm so excited for yall! i check the blog regularly, so keep us posted. and i do want to see pics of your growing belly! enjoy these weeks.
Porter!!! Wow Carrie, I love everything... the room is so cute, what a great name, and glad to hear everything is coming together... Well I hope I get to see you next weekend when I'm in town! I'm so excited for you and can't wait to see pictures. You look amazing!
