This weekend I met one of my fellow LISD art teachers at Mayfield Park for a mini session of her darling 9 month old. Her name is Madeline, she has red hair, and she's not afraid to stand up in a bucket or dig her knees into the wet grass. Aja, thanks so much for sharing your little one with me. She was a delight!

Cole Philip Thompson

Holly, my best friend's sister, had a baby. An amazingly perfect - sleepy - quiet - dainty - little baby boy - named Cole, after their brother. Meeting this little man felt like meeting family. Holly already looked like she'd been doing this for years and it brought such joy to my heart to be around a room full of Hortons - watching the family grow. Here are a few of my initial faves - Holly and Phil, thank you so much for letting me into your home to see some of these precious first moments.

so, this is still not perfect. and if you know me you know i like things {especially my art pursuit things} perfect ...to whateaver degree i can control. BUT... i know myself and if i wait for perfection this will never happen.

all that to say, i now have a website for my photographs. still working on getting a photo centered blog, but until then here is my site.
